Merry Christmas, friends!
Excited to get you a nice little update this week. We’ve been shipping a lot of new stuff recently, and now we’re taking some time to polish up some of the older things. In this update, we knock out a ton of bugs and put in some quality of life improvements, plus a fun new feature y’all have been asking for is finally here!
In the next week, we’ll be sharing a recap of all of the things we shipped this year, as well as an update on our roadmap for 2025. 2024 has been an awesome year, and we can’t wait to tell you what’s in store for next year.
This is a big one we’ve had a lot of requests for. Glad to finally get it in!
You can now switch characters by clicking “Play as”. Open a character sheet or click the dropdown menu on a character in the Party tab.
Fixing this one really made my Christmas. If you think the mobile map has been bugging you, trust me it has been bugging me even more. I’m so glad we finally got it working on mobile.
Also put in some other fixes so adding stuff from the mobile map builder does not close out the whole view. It should be pretty smooth now, let us know if you have any issues.
Now in the campaign view, when you click on tabs like memories, world, or settings etc, they will open super fast! They now open in a modal so you don’t feel like you are leaving the screen.
Now in ACE-1, you should be able to turn on turn-based combat and it will work like before, granting XP. This will be overhauled soon, but we turned it back on temporarily until we get those bigger combat updates out.

Fixed issue where changes by collaborators redirected workshop ownership incorrectly.
Fixed issue where you could not equip two-handed staffs
Resolved bug where deleting a campaign would freeze screen
Fixed bug where Franz would use the wrong DC
Fixed issue where XML tags would be output in messages
Added the “Hide unknown entities” setting back to the settings screen
Fixed bug where comboboxes (search/select) inputs did not work (change/select location inputs mostly)
Fixed bug where you could not clone certain worlds
Fixed bug where Franz was not generating NPCs in certain campaigns
