Was editing and tried clearing an old area, the Delete confirmation lied and took the state of Florida out

I was trying to get rid of an old area that I didn’t need anymore because of the polygons, so I used the deletion tool. The confirmation noted that it was just USA zone 2 being deleted, but it took all the POIs and areas underneath it, which included Florida, the four city areas, and 4 POIs. It wiped out everything that was above the area, not just the area that was given in the deletion confirmation.
