Unknown Areas since new update

Hello! I'm sorry if this was already asked or a new map feature I haven't found out about, but, since the new update, whenever my character strays too far from a POI, the system seems unable to reach for the Area description and my character ends up in an "unknown location". Franz also seems to lose track of were I am. It happens to me in all maps, private or public.
