Total failues

Tonight Franz managed to screw up plot 5 messages old, recycle main characters as if they didn't exist, and failed to add gold to my inventory after 30 attempts, glitched to a new story, and then tried to incite panic in my existing one when I refused to move plot without a fix to adding gold. What function am I paying for if none of the above works?
