Time and Space

The biggest feature I’d like added is an incorporation of time and space. Since space already has ground work I believe you could set up basic time with just some math. Here’s my suggestion:

1 combat turn(t) = 30 ft

1 mile(mi) = 5280 ft

1 hour(hr) = 21,120 ft

1 minute(min) = 352 ft

1 second (sec) = 5.866 ft

1 day(d) = 8 cycles(cy)

1 cy = 3 hr

With this frame work you can determine how far things are apart and how long it takes to get there. You also have a basic way for the AI to determine time. If it’s basic rule of thumb is 8 cycles a day. You can setup a rule for how much time is passing during a normal narration based on the player plot pace speed. For example:

Fast game:

1 cy = 1 Narration(nt)

Slow Game

1 cy = 3 nt
