I’ve been testing ways to get better encounter balance from Franz. I’m not sure if they are useful for when you update combat and encounters.
1.-I’ve made a monster with this Description and Appearance:
“ENCOUNTER SELECTION — UNDEAD (MANDATORY) You MUST NOT alter encounter composition. PARTY LEVEL RULE List the party's members with it's level. Sum all levels together. The final number is the Party Effective Level to be used to select the corresponding group from the Undead Encounter Table. CREATURE SOURCE RULE Select creatures ONLY from the encounter table below. Do NOT add, remove, replace, or modify any creature or quantity. CRITICAL IDENTIFIER RULES All creature names MUST be copied verbatim from the table, excluding " symbol. Do NOT modify, shorten, pluralize, or paraphrase names. Always specify the exact number of each creature. REFERENCE ENFORCEMENT When introducing the encounter, explicitly list every creature by full identifier and quantity. Every sentence describing a creature’s presence, action, position, or state MUST include its full exact identifier. Never use pronouns, collective terms, or implicit references.”
“UNDEAD ENCOUNTER TABLE Use just ONE of the following groups according to party level. Level 1: 2 Skeleton Level 2: 1 Ghoul Level 3: 1 Ghoul + 2 Zombie Level 4: 2 Ghoul Level 5: 1 Wight + 1 Ghoul + 2 Skeleton Level 6: 1 Wight + 3 Skeleton Level 7: 1 Wight + 1 Ghoul Level 8: 2 Wight Level 9: 1 Revenant Level 10: 1 Revenant + 2 Skeleton Level 11: 1 Revenant + 1 Ghoul Level 12: 1 Revenant + 2 Ghoul Level 13: 1 Revenant + 1 Wight Level 14: 2 Revenant Level 15: 2 Revenant + 1 Skeleton”
To my surprise, it seems to work perfect, but with just one flaw: it just takes in account my character level. It seems other characters levels are not recieved.
