Telling Franz a roll result

Some of my friends prefer to roll dice physically still, which I understand. I too am a dice dragon and want to see the shiny math rocks tumble and roll.

However this makes things difficult with Franz. I don't see a way to tell it the number result of a roll other than buffing the proficiency, to the numerical result.
