Sidebar refusing to stay open on mobile/android

On (Google Chrome- android phone) in my game, the locations and npcs sidebar will dissappear after one touch anywhere. I cannot change my location appropriately because it is lower on the list than I can tap one time, and I cannot edit anything like characters or encounter order. Has anyone else been dealing with this, or is it just me? I've been trying different things, but so far rotation and desktop view haven't helped (the icon dissappears it seems.)
