Please don't let F&F fade away

Hi,

I don't usually write to devs. But F&F has meant enough to me that I couldn't stay quiet while it slips away.

For a long stretch it was the only thing that gave me real D&D when I couldn't get a table together. I built worlds and sank way too many hours into campaigns. I kept my sub going because I loved it, and because I trusted that more was coming. I wanted F&F to become the ultimate AI D&D experience, and for a while it felt like it was headed there.

So watching it slowly wind down since the shift to Craft has been hard. Not angry, just deflated. You had a roadmap, and a roadmap is its own kind of promise. Back in January you even told us F&F wasn't being shelved and that you'd keep both going in parallel, and I held onto that. The project had real momentum, and the combat overhaul was supposed to be next. Then it became 100% Craft, and the plan I was holding out for just quietly went with it. That's the part that gets to me.

Here's the thing I keep coming back to. F&F's superpower was that you could just jump in and play. No system to build, no rules to wrestle, just a campaign and Franz. Not everyone wants to design their own game from scratch. A lot of us only want to sit down and play D&D, and F&F is the one thing that nailed that for me. That simplicity is worth protecting, even with Craft in the picture.

And I'm not asking you to choose. F&F already exists and works. Even a little attention, bug fixes, the updates you'd planned, would keep it alive for the players who stuck with it. It really doesn't have to be one or the other.

So this is mostly just a plea. Please don't kill F&F, and please don't stop developing it. It's special, and I doubt I'm the only one who'd hate to see it go.

Thank you for everything you've built. I'm not going anywhere if you keep it alive.
