No spells as a spellblade

I choose to be a fighter and then subclass spellblade for blend of swords and magic. I was surprised when the sheet UI said it was not a spell casting class despite all the descriptions saying it is. I could not add spells to the sheet and had to talk to the AI to get them added in a kludgy way
