Makes absolutely no sense

I’m in the tavern discussing the plot hook with the very first characters I met in the campaign. We were discussing the payment for me helping them and they agreed to my terms and then the very next line of text has me somehow in some sort of tunnel that I have not even remotely discovered yet rolling for initiative and fighting all 3 main characters that I just met.

Franz told me the details of how it happened were not important and that I just have to accept that it happened and to deal with the combat to survive. Tell me, how is a level 1 Bard suppose to fight off 3 main characters that are each 4 levels higher than him? They literally killed me with 2 hits.

I’m sorry. But this AI is very far from being in a state that allows fluid gameplay that makes sense. This is the 2nd campaign I tried because the AI completely messed up my first campaign after about 6 hours. Not remembering anything that happened early on in the campaign and deleting items out of my inventory.

I really want this to work. But unfortunately, it just isn’t there yet and is not worth the money. I wish I could get a refund.
