Level Inconsistencies

On the character sheet it says I’m level 4.

Then it says I’m 2877/6500 XP until level 4. — This should say “until level 5”

Also, I was at level 3 and then went up to level 4, but IMO Franz should not automatically increase the level just because of XP. I’d prefer it to remain at the current level but a very visible Level Up button appears in the character sheet explaining what to change when you level up or something like that. In this case, Franz changed my level but my HPs weren’t affected, I’m supposed to get an ability increase at level 4 and that didn’t happen, etc. These are manual tasks that I need to do and when he increased the level number automatically, it’s not clear if I’ve really leveled up.
