Incorrect maximum mention error message

With the Free Trial account (and maybe the others), if you type ‘@’ (without single quotes) into a pre-existing message, similar to above, “Now that ‘@’ is healed” you get the above message that you’ve already used a mention, when in reality this is your first mention. If you delete all the text and type “Now that ‘@’ ” then the mention works.
