Import and Export Characters

So, I understand this isn’t a DnD Beyond product, but character sheets should be portable between games, since it’s all 5E anyway. If there was a way to load sheets into campaigns instead of having to recreate a character and a new campaign if I want to try a PC I like in a different campaign, that would be awesome!
