Right now the AI models running Franz (I am using Fenix in my current campaign because Gemini is way too expensive) have A LOT to juggle during a campaign and because of this are obviously prone to errors especially when it comes to the small stuff.
Many of the mechanics of playing a TTRPG need to be more hard-coded into the platform in a videogame-like manner. Franz is great at storytelling, building NPCs, locations, new items, etc.
Franz is currently not great at updating inventories or currencies, running trades between players and merchants, remembering and successfully applying NPC class features, using monster attacks correctly, traveling between areas that aren’t POIs, and the list goes on.
Franz needs to be less able to freely interpret and figure out mechanics in the game that should be more “hard-coded” in and streamlined. It gets exhausting spending 30 minutes trying to sell two items to the local market and get Franz to correctly update inventories and reflect the exchange of currencies. It is also exhausting trying to use feats that should be relatively simple, but because Franz does not understand it I have to stop and take ten minutes to explain it and then he still uses adds it into the narrative incorrectly.
