Franz struggles when the party split up.

I had a group of NPC with me. Three of them. I went through a portal, Franz did not have them follow me. I was on my own on the other side. I met another NPC who was assisting me. Franz kept wanting to add the original 3 people to combats and to conversations. I told him several times they were not with me, he agreed. Then he created a combat with them in it and like 6 enemies. He ended up removing them from the combat, but then the combat was so strong it killed me and the other NPC. I had a chat with him, and he thought they were there with me at one of the points I had corrected him on earlier and he didn’t update his log.
