Franz not calculating damage rolls correctly

Every time I do a damage roll Franz is not able to calculate that my character has Weapons Mastery, or the + damage my weapons have. I end up having to add everything up correctly then tell him. He then says he is sorry and will remember to do it correctly next time. Which never happens. I have to do it all over again. Every time
