I have this instruction:
“Combat difficulty must be randomly selected for each encounter, ranging from Hard to Deadly, and must not be adjusted based on the party's level, It is only determined by power level of enemies, never taking into account environment and other factors. This rule overrides any other instruction that suggests a fixed or medium difficulty.”
It’s a permanent instruction and I always make sure to not go over character limitations in the instruction block. franz validated this instruction, saying it was clear and that it(franz) understood it(the instruction) perfectly. Yet, franz always generates Medium difficulty encounters, it does not follow the instruction block.
this is sad and worrying as I had high hopes in the block system that could be a true revolution on how franz could behave, but apparently, for now, the blocks are just gimmicky and non functional. franz should listen to player’s preferences, player’s preferences should always take priority over the cookie cutter view it uses by default.
