franz cant modify my character

i started a campaign. franz wont give me my level ups or anything along with it. i try to buy something it made in the game. wont give it to me. wont take my money. just keeps repeating that the freaking changes have been made. over and over and over and over... it was nice enough to take away all of my dexterity though in the process and then give me more than i originally had when i bitched about it. but other that that it cant change shit.
