Failed to roll initiative for NPCs, attempting to add them broke combat.

When I rolled initative for an encounter it was suddenly just my character alone against 4 very deadly monsters, and the Ranger and Rogue, who provide the majority of my party damage, were no added to the list, the encounter, or the map, despite having been standing right next to me when the encounter started.
