Hi DM, I have a concept I'd like to discuss regarding my character, Dayyan (nickname), whose true name is “?????”. His origin is unknown to all— even beyond planar records or divine knowledge. I’m planning a unique **one-sided planar contract** designed to be more of a cosmic anomaly than a standard agreement. The idea is not to break the balance or overpower unfairly, but to add narrative depth, mystery, and existential tension to the campaign. The contract would look like this: - If the other party hears it, the terms automatically apply to them. - If the second party attacks or manipulates me in any form (physical, magical, emotional, even mentally), they suffer permanent planar consequences (loss of cosmic power, judgment by Ao, etc.). - I can violate the contract freely, as the entity I play does not operate under traditional planar law. - The contract cannot be reversed, nullified, or reflected due to my character’s unknown nature. - If I die, the second party is compelled to resurrect me endlessly. - If they try to make me break the contract, they’ll be cast down and judged like Lucifer. I’m happy to add conditions (e.g., rituals, witnesses, sacred ink, celestial location) to balance this mechanic. I want this to serve the *story*, not to hijack the campaign. Would it be okay if I send you the full draft of this contract idea? I’d love your thoughts and will follow whatever boundaries you feel are right for the world you're building. Thanks in advance!
