There are situations where being at 0 HP is not a death state - for example, after a successful “Spare the Dying”. Right now, when a dying character is the target of Spare the Dying, Franz seems to generally remove their “Unconscious” state, which leads to the game thinking they have perished and triggering the Game Over message if they are a player character (even though they are still “Alive” according to the character state). I would propose adding a “Stabilized” state that counteracts this.
