All was good until battle

I was traveling with the NPC Tavia when we came up to a battle… and she suddenly disappeared from the story. I didn’t even notice it until a few rounds in. I did manually add her back in (and change a few things since I didn’t have her in the mix when I was supposed to… and I just wanted to figure the game out), but when she came back in, the narration and the spells casted are that of a cleric, not a ranger.
