Abandoned

Last year I bought an annual subscription to F&F. A couple months later — right after the refund window closed — the project was, for all intents and purposes, abandoned. Since February there have been almost no real updates, and the team's even admitted they're now focusing 100% of their time on a new product, "Craft."

That's their call to make. But I feel pretty ripped off, thinking my subscription was going toward the future of F&F. At the time I bought it, the team was responsive and constantly shipping — new features, real adjustments, real momentum. Now, nothing. Go look at Craft's patch log; it reads exactly like F&F's used to.

I don't plan on switching to Craft, because the second I do, I half expect the team to abandon that too and chase the next thing. I don't expect much to come of this post — mostly just wanted to put the frustration somewhere. My December and January with F&F were genuinely great, and that's what makes this sting.
