A Brand New Idea!

Hello, Friends & Fables,

I am a young girl who has found something I really love because of your platform: D&D as well as worldbuilding.

I am currently working on the world of Ika and have come across an idea that I believe you all would like. An idea that could change the whole platform and take worldbuilding to a whole other level.

What if there was a way to make things that players do or find (with all players' consent) be added to certain sections of the world's lore? NPCs they helped would talk about them to other parties. The original parties could know that they helped with part of the world and that things they discovered would be added.

The players (with their consent) could be known as heroes in the world, and of course the world builder would choose what to add, making sure the world doesn't get too cluttered.

If the players came back to play another campaign in the same world, they would be remembered as heroes! NPCs could tell stories about them, people could know their names, and future parties could discover the legends they left behind. Maybe they could even meet another party's legacy in some way, or even meet another party that is playing in the world at the same time—real people, not just NPCs. But if you do take this idea, there must be a way to get the party's consent. If they don't want to play with strangers, they shouldn't have to.

I think this could help build long-term worlds, and I believe that players would care more if they knew they contributed to the world and if they were role models for new players. They would be more invested, and for a longer period of time.

I also believe that creators would keep coming back to worlds like this. Their creations would feel alive.

I believe this is an idea that no other platform has, and I think that would make your platform even more unique.

I hope this idea was the start of something new for Friends & Fables. I understand that you are the coders, and I know you should have most of the credit, but I would be completely honored if you would credit the idea to me if something like this were ever added.
