Scrolling through past messages is a NIGHTMARE

I’m not sure which update created this issue, but it has become extremely aggravating to try and scroll up to past messages or even to search them with the search function. When you scroll up or select a message more than a few turns ago, it automatically and FORCEFULLY scrolls down to the bottom again and their is no way to prevent this.
