Here are some changes i think it needs. Characters: Have characters act based on their Mannerisms, Personalities, circumstances, and maybe Backstory aswell. Have Characters Appearances update when changes been made like lets say the hair was blonde but now its black, so it doesn't forget those little facts if you forget to update the screen to show this so it being auto for would help alot. Would like to see conditions added aswell like Poisoned or Bleeding to name some of them, know this is likely already planned. Could also add titles like for an example Dragon Slayer.
I’d like to raise the topic of another important instruction that would help characters stay within the context — it will list the needs, intents, temporary statuses and modifiers to override the records in "Appearance" or "Personality" fields and directly affect the narrative. This line maybe limited to 100 to 200 characters but should be always visible to the GM. Unlike memories, its content can and will change frequently — so, generally speaking, it’d work as a single locked memory with dynamic instruction. I believe temporary statuses can be automatically added or modified by the GM and player.
Can we get languages in the character sheet. with this if for example your character knows elvish but two dwarves are talking in dwarvish language then you shouldnt know what they are saying unless it is being translated, maybe even have it update when a new language is learnt by the character.
I'm hoping we can create a new tab in character sheets for character transformations which tringer when a skill is used for it, for forms like werewolves, vampires, and shapeshifters to name a few, give some skills thats maybe only useable when in this form or forms, lets call the tab transformation or whatever you want to.
Hmm maybe a tab for reputations and assumptions for each character for each characters and factions, maybe something like how the relationships work at moment at least it would be a good for it even if you don't thats fine i guess. maybe Add a campaign memory section in the character sheet, with something like a 500 character limit. In addition to the backstory of the character, this would provide a more detailed adventure summary for Franz's use.
Ability to set starting locations by character Anything is possible, so a wood elf ranger could theoretically start his/her campaign deep within a dwarven hold, but I wish there were an option to make starting points only available to pre-existing characters or by class/race if created by the user.
Skills Maybe could get them have a bar and level for each showing how much proficiency or expertise a character has in those skills, at the moment they feel lacking.
Races: The 500 character limit is too restrictive to describe an entire species when generating a new character, Franz will have very little information to work with. I assume a species entry should be similar in structure to a character's profile. My suggestion to expand the race creation or edit model with the following: Appearance It would take around 500 symbols only to describe their constitution, visual features, common hair and eye colors, traditional clothing, speech patterns, accents, habits, and an explaples: eyes burn with fires of hell, cracked skin, turquoise hair, ten wings, 9 tails or any other race specific phenotypes.
Natural Habitat(s) Areas and/or POIs where this race naturally lives. Maybe they can only live in specific conditions, or are an extremely isolationist race.
Culture Specific customs for this race: maybe they intertwine their tails as greeting, or they have a predisposition for specific apparel or a specific way of wearing it.
Backstory Even more detailed segment covering the species' lore and origins, their relationships with other races, deities, beliefs, homeland
Honorifics Maybe as part of the name template part, here’s how it could work, for example: a normal carpenter would just have their name, but once one becomes a master carpenter they’d get the affix “shorin,“ or a monarch would have the affix “veali.“
Sexes Maybe it’s an all-female race, an all-male race, they have a skewed ratio between the two, or they have no sex at all (like when it’s a race of pure energy beings or something).
Traits: Typical behavior, abilities, advantages, disadvantages, and differences.
Race specific classes Due to their habitat, race X are the only ones who can be class Y.
Race skills Lets use Kitsunes as an example here they are only ones who can use foxfire. Heres a few more examples i can give for races is the Dragonborn. Dragonborn have an elemental breath attack ability of their chosen scale color, and damage resistance on that same element. Another example would be the Fey Satyr. They get advantage on saving throws against magical effects. And of course, all races have different base languages they speak.
Class Abilities Basically any class other than magic users are the same right now. Some base examples of what we need are the barbarian’s rage ability, the fighters second wind, and the rouge’s sneak attack, just to name a few.
That’s all I can think of for now.
