Questions asked directly to Franz about inner working of the game consumme game turns.

I have a beginner's question, well, almost, because I have previously played many games based on multiple licences, and generally asking the game master questions does not advance the turns. The turns only advance when the player characters and non-player characters have finished their actions. During the game, I had to ask questions about the inner workings of the game (spells, game mechanics, etc.), and to my surprise, I found that everything was discounted in terms of turn units and therefore game credits. Is this a misinterpretation of the game regarding what is commonly referred to as a ‘game turn’, or is there a problem with the naming of game credits that leads to confusion (game turn = tokens)? If it is a mistake, how can I recover the game turns consumed by asking the game master Franz directly?
