Puzzles / Riddles

Franz seems to really like riddles and puzzles, when I try to do something else, he just makes a new one, even with enemies, they will say something like do this puzzle or something bad is going to happen, which they should just attack you anyway. A way to lead him away from constant puzzles would be appreciated. Thanks.
