So, thinking about the issues with the current spawning system, I’ve got this ideas to maybe solve some of the issues regarding how Franz sometimes creates wrong new monsters, or creates np’cs, etc…
When something spawns, Franz always puts the entity in the map, and uses it as reference for the narration. I think this will help consistency, because if the spawned entity its not hostile at first, and there are a long scene before there is a combat, as the entity is already placed I guess it will pick it up easily. Also, for the narration, I guess it will improve, because it have the monster char.
On the other hand, I think Franz should not create a monster just right directly. But this monster char could be turned into a NPC, and this NPC could take the stats of the monster as a reference for creating it, also allowing consistency, because right now, when Franz creates a new NPC, it just makes it kind of random. I’m still not sure what the conditions to create an NPC should be, maybe when there is the need to create a related memory or to join the party, but I guess there could be more.
Just an idea, I’m sure there are a lot of tecnical aspects that i’m missing.
