Overlapping Images in Map Editor

I have a large underlay image of the world and add maps of towns and villages in higher resolution over it. The problem is, when the area is set in place, you cannot see what’s under it to adjust the scale and position. It would be convenient to have a visibility toggle button for each individual area (just like Toggle Images button) or have opacity changed to ~90% while the area is moved.
