I ‘ve been playing for some time now and i love the potential this idea shows, but its still quite rough. I am playing 3 campaings as of now and franz is simply not intelligent enough for this kind of thing yet.
Some issues i ran with while playing it:
-Franz forgets characters s personalities and traits, making for example a kind and wise elderly elf to rude for some reason.
-Franz forgets characters are even IN the party. I did a raid scenarion along with 3 other npcs, all with their own personalities, interacting with each other. He straight up forgot about one mid quest and when we split the payment,he just said the character took the money and left without a word. It was one of the more talkative characters. So,a reminder. If you have a party of npcs and one of them has become sudently way too silent and doesnt coment on anything anymore. Yup.franz forgot about him…..
-Automatic rolls: I have a character that can atack 3 times,1 action,1 extra atack and 1 bonus action off hand. IT was fine until franz rolled all dices in sequence whitout asking me, I had to correct him saying i wanted full control of my character and he should always ask what i wanted to do before each action.
-Constant errors, failing to call the dice,so i have to do manually. Not a big problem, but annoying.
-Mixing up the battle turns and not correcting it even when i ask him to do it
Among others. Anyway,it gets less anoying when you treat franz as an AI (a not particularly good one) instead of a DM.
