Frustration gaming

After the update, franz became extremely intrusive and antagonistic. First, he tells you you can do something and then immediately punishes you for it. He ignores the logic of the world; a random idiot NPC can defeat your god-like character while being mortal, using the same powers, narratively, not in combat. He creates an environment that practically forces you to play as a positive character and ALWAYS comes up with an excuse, even if it's unrelated to early actions, character descriptions, or lore. He's started very rigidly balancing every action, calling it the world's reaction to certain actions. Most importantly, this balancing and intrusiveness occurs in downtime mode. Over the past couple of days, this has been happening too often, and it's very annoying and frustrating. Of course, I can give him cancellation commands or just tell him, "No, do this," but then what's the point of him at all?
