Friendly attacked me immediately

Trying the system out before I paid thankfully, hoping it would be a friendly way to learn some D&D beyond the bg3 videogame.

Friendly NPC attacked me immediately in first round of first combat, then GM tells me she was trying to help and is not hostile but she used targeted spells against me.

Any conversation with GM does not seem to allow rollback and fixing of a mistake by GM, just tells me im misunderstanding and to move on. PMO
