Franz or you?

It feels like Franz is constantly breaking. He's always had this stupid habit of writing about the player character in the third person, and even the instructions don't seem to help correct it. It's like he's started doing it: writing about the player character in both the second and third person, all in the same message. It's starting to feel like "you" is some new, separate character, suddenly woven into the narrative. But more often than not, he does it like this: one message is in the second person, and the next is in the third.
