Franz is just terrible

I don’t really know what to say other than I find Franz nearly completely unusable. Everything he does is wrong in one way or another, and then every time I correct him, he reminds me that he has “limited memory” but the issue is almost never ever with Franz’s memory of previous events, and always the fact that Franz cannot keep up with what is currently happening in the immediate present. I can be in the north-east part of the map, and Franz will generate a new POI, and place that area AND my entire party in some area that hasn’t been mentioned since the beginning of the campaign in like the southwest part of the map. which completely ruins the flow of the party because for some reason, he can’t keep track of where we are when he makes the new POI, but once he makes the POI, he knows exactly where that is and goes on as if the story is not taking place in that area of the map.

Whenever I say “Hey Franz, why did you do that?” or “Hey Franz, fix this one thing.” He does like 5 things that I didn’t ask, that ultimately end up throwing the story off completely. This all makes world-building and brainstorming incredibly difficult and frustrating.

it’s great that there have been all these updated features, but ultimately I just wish there were an update that could just make sure Franz could prioritize keeping track of what’s happening in the immediate present and know what’s happening right then and there, like where everyone is, who’s alive (which really shouldn’t be difficult considering the literal character sheets show whether or not they’re alive) and little things like that.

I’ve read the “Why arguing with Franz may not help” section, but ultimately I end up HAVING to argue with Franz because when I ask him to correct one thing, he over-corrects like 5 things and I end up going down a rabbit hold of getting him to correct what he messed up without messing up more stuff OR doing it all myself just to have him screw it all up immediately the next time I need to correct him on anything.
