Franz completley ignoring my prompts and taking control of my character

In the previous prompt, Franz asked if I wanted to ask about the box that the sailors pulled from the ocean. I said I was going to let them be and head to the tavern instead.

Franz then replied with an entire dialouge where he took over my character and made him stay and examine the box and REFUSED let me ignore the box after a few re-writes.

This is the second time this happened in a row.
