Files and links use

For the use of files and links, can we have them serve as information for characters and their history and if we want to play as them we can play as them and play through their established timeline through their perspective and the campaign and quests would be linked to their background. Or we can just play as those characters in a crossover or something or go on adventures and quests as those characters in their respective media’s.
