Hi! This is my first post so I want to start by saying that I’m really happy with what you all have made. The ability to create our own worlds with such fine-grained detail and then play in them is a dream come true!
The quest system is fun, it feels very satisfying to complete a long multi-step quest. A very easy improvement for it would be to allow players to “abandon” quests (with consequences in the game?). It feels somewhat disingenuous to “mark as complete” when you haven’t completed it at all.
Another improvement that I think might not be hard to implement is the functionality to modify the quest somewhat to account for changes in the game state that make it unreasonable for the quest steps to continue as planned. Its nice that you can manually mark a quest step as complete but I would rather complete a more up-to-date quest step in-world, accounting for player creativity in game.
Lastly, it would be cool to have a chance to “fail” a quest if you really go off the rails (like killing the guy you where supposed to be helping, whoops!)
Thanks again for making such a cool AI dnd sim!
