Continuing Before Hitting the "I'm Ready" Button

I tried playing a campaign with one of my friends but we encountered an issue with Franz automatically continuing the story without waiting for both players to click the "I'm Ready" button. Because of this, actions and dialogue would get jumbled up and our game was cut short due to Franz having to use twice as many turns to react to our actions.
