Com at and inventory issues

I'm really enjoying the game so far, but there are definite issues with the combat system as well as the inventory. My inventory keeps failing to update when I find money specifically, and the AI game engine keeps having trouble recognizing that I have items in my inventory when I ask to use them.

Additionally, the game does not seem to be able to handle three-dimensional combat. It keeps losing track of where I am in vertical space, it doesn't remember that I'm shooting through a window, or looking down. A flight of stairs actually has come back continues. It keeps trying to complete the combat in two dimensions using its built-in grid system.
